Each design has its own story, often rooted in Rebecca's memories of Scotland's coastal towns and islands. One particularly personal example is Fairlie, a cosy, felted vest named after the place where many of her grandparents' sailing adventures began. Rebecca recently inherited their sailing logbooks, filled with decades of handwritten journeys, and Fairlie appears in them time and again.
Worked from the top down and felted for a beautifully dense fabric, the vest is a lovely example of how Rebecca combines traditional influences with a fresh, contemporary approach.
